The young leader closed her eyes and sighed, praying to Starclan to give her a sign on what to do, but still no answer came. But a memory did, it was from her leader ceremony in Starclan, one of the lives given to her, from a little apprentice Littlepaw. She remembered the words spoken to her well, ".I give you the life of farsightedness, for understanding what the results of your actions might be, however distant in the future. It will be the hardest and most lonely part of your duty as leader, Frostclaw, but essential to keep your clan safe. Do not rush into anything. Look forward and choose the path that leads to where you would want your clanmates to be." And she knew that she might have to make an unpopular decision. She opened her eyes again, her mind still reeling on trying to find solutions, when she spoke, "Perhaps we should make for Fourtrees then. I don't like making the assumption that smoke won't fill the tunnels up and we can't take a risk like that, especially since Rainpelt just kitted. At least at Fourtrees, we have somewhere to go, I've heard of a barn just at the edge of Windclan territory, should we need to leave. Perhaps there Starclan will protect us as it does those four ancient trees. "

The tortie she-cat would give a firm nod, " At the very least though the tunnels can protect us from any falling stones on our way to four trees," she rumbled out, glancing up at the sky for a moment. "It'll give us one less thing to worry about briefly." She mutters, stiffening at the mention of the barn. "Surely you're kidding right? Rooming in that twoleg den with the kittypets they keep there?" She huffs, tail lashing. Anything and everything relating to kittypets seemed to be a sore spot for Marshcloud, and as far as she was concerned, where there are two legs there are kittypets.

Froststar stiffened at the shecats words. Her lip curled at her questioning, and suddenly she wanted to snarl at her. Why would she be kidding at a time like this? She thought angrily, as much as Froststar didn't like kittypets, she knew that twolegs wouldn't let their dens burn down. And that would be their best bet, should they not have any other options. She layed her ears back and lashed her tail, "Why would I be joking at a time like this, Marshcloud? Do you mean to tell me that you think I think my clans safety is a joke? If I think that rooming with a kittypet and whatever loner is in that barn because I think I would be safer than waiting for the forest to burn down around us, than by Starclan, I will do it. I wouldn't ask anything of my cats that I wouldn't do myself."

Marshcloud's pelt would ruffle a bit at her leader's tone, but she kept her head low out of respect for her leader. "I... it was a poor choice of words Froststar, my apologies," she rumbles, holding her leader's gaze. Marshcloud may have a sour attitude and harsh exterior, but she wasn't going to be a mousebrain and deny when she was in the wrong or out of line. "I fully trust your choices are in the best interest of the clan," she mews, her tone even and calm despite the guilt tugging at her pelt for having offender the she-cat. Not that she'd show it that much. She'd flick an ear towards Fallenflames, giving a soft huff. "Yes, yes. I'm sure there's some kittypets out there that aren't all bad, I simply find the more distance between myself and them the better,"she mutters softly. "I doubt anything is going to want our territory if its reduced to ashes, at least for the time being. But the distance does sound a bit worrying, especially for the kits who are still young and need to be carried for long distances," she says.

Froststar watched Marshcloud for a moment before she let her fur lay flat. After her outburst, the young leader didn't really know what to say. She understood their concern but if they didn't have any other choice, than that's what they had to do. She nodded to Marshcloud, to show that she understood and there was no hard feelings, before sighing again and agreeing with Marshcloud, " I agree, I don't think any of the clans are going to be invading anytime soon if they're dealing with the same fires but I also agree that the barn is too far away at this moment. We should make for the tunnels, though I don't want to panic the clan. Are the flames close?"
